We had a very nice day at Myrtle Beach starting with a walk along the beach.  It started out being warm but on the cloudy/foggy side.  You can see Ralph and the girls walking in the distance.  The beach goes on forever.

Then we headed over to explore the new 1.2 mile boardwalk at 14th avenue North.   

Finally it was time to head to Charleston which was about 1 1/2 hours south of Myrtle Beach.  Of course it took us much longer as we had a few stops along the way.  One of the stops was in Georgetown where the outside of the restaurant caught my attention.

We arrived at our hotel around 5.30- once again we missed seeing the sunset from the beach, however it was rather cloudy out so I didn't feel that I missed too much.     We ended up taking a walk at the marina beside our hotel where I took a couple of night shots trying to practise my new found skills from the  Costa Rica workshop. Unfortunately, it was difficult to get the angle that I wanted without falling into the water (hence the grass in the shot).  There were also  bright surrounding lights behind me which didn't help.  Still I have included a couple of the pictures.  At least the water looks nice and silky.  

All in all, a very nice  day!
