I was up early once again and decided to go down to the river  to get some early morning shots.  The hotel was in the middle of the rain forest but fortunately there were trails(close to my room) to the river.   After lunch we arrived at San Gerardo de Dota and checked into our hotel.  The Savegre Hotel Nature Reserve and Spa was located beside  the Rio Savegre near/in  Los Quetzales which is  one of Costa Rica's newest national parks created in July of 2005.  You will note all of the river shots- I really enjoy taking shots of rivers/rocks!  

I liked the rocks along the river and how the light looked on them first thing in the morning.

A slightly different spot and different lighting.  

Here is a shot of one of the suspension bridge on the grounds of the Selva Verde Lodge.  We walked across it but unfortunately the gate at the other side was locked so we couldn't continue our exploring.

This was a lily pond at the hotel which I thought was quite pretty.

This is the river "Rio Savegre" beside the Savegre Hotel Nature Reserve where we stayed after leaving Sarapiqui.
