On May 11th I attended a photography workshop at the Woodlawn Inn, Cobourg Ontario.  The Inn was located downtown, about a ten minute walk to the water.   On the first day we started early (around 6 am)  but we were still too late for  the sunrise.  We did get some great early morning light though.    The Inn itself was lovely and the food was terrific.  

This was one of the first shots I took from the beach.  

This photo was taken at the edge of the lake.  I liked the simple design.

I thought the reflection was interesting.  The buildings behind are condominiums which come with a terrific view of the lake.

This was my idea of  a "creative" type photo taken on the  beach.

The idea of this workshop was trying different types of photos.  Not my usual landscape pictures.  This shot looked much better in black and white.

Back to my landscape photos.  The park down by the water had the such great trees.
