Today was the last full day of the workshop and the last day of photographing.  This morning only Perry and I got up to take some sunrise pictures.  In the afternoon the group ended up just driving in the countryside for something different.  We went on some farmer fields (with permission) and also went to the provincial park where there were old homesteads.

Another early morning shot.  This time we just went to the beach in town.

There were some nice colours in the sky.

All of the beaches on the Georgian Bay side are very rocky.

On this shot I zoomed in as much as I could with my mid telephoto lens  to get more of the colours of the sunrise.

Meet a permanent occupant of the guest house.  I was practising shooting using some window lighting.

I liked these shadows on the steps leading up to the B&B.  

This shot was taken in a field of daisies.  I used the multiple exposure feature on the camera to take 7 shots at one time while moving the camera for an interesting effect.

We stopped at a farmer's field and took some pictures of old structures.  The manager of the farm told us it was fine if we took some pictures but just as we were leaving the owner came by and told us to get off the property.  We explained that we were just taking pictures and had permission from the manager.  She said that she didn't think we were just taking pictures as we had been there way too long.  Obviously she is not familiar with photographers!  

On the way to the provincial park we stopped on the road to take a few pictures of this pond.  We met some people who had just seen a couple of bears down the road but fortunately (or unfortunately) we didn't meet up with them.  On the way back Don was standing up through the sunroof taking pictures and he did get one of a bear crossing the road in the distance.  I could only see the shape of the bear as I was in the car behind.

I loved the reflections of the trees and the colours.

A toad was just enjoying the sunshine and warmth of the day.

This was an old homestead that was acquired by the Bruce Peninsula National Park.
