After leaving the Bruce Peninsula National Park we headed to Tobermory for sunset.  This small town is located at the northern tip of the Peninsula.  I heard that this community is known as the fresh water scuba diving capital of the world because of all of the shipwrecks that lie in the surrounding waters.  The only boats we saw were in the marina in town.

We parked the cars at the marina to check out the area and walk around the town.  It was really small and there wasn't too much to see except for the boats and water.

I found the reflections of the boats quite interesting.

Eventually we drove down to a scenic spot at the tip of the peninsula to watch the sunset.  Tobermory is surrounded by water with Lake Huron on one side and Georgian Bay on the other.   I stayed in one place on the cliffs as it wasn't that easy to move around with the tripod so once I found a good place for it I stayed in that spot.  However, I was able to shift positions in order to face different directions for different views of the water.   You can see the lighthouse in the background.

While waiting for the sunset I had fun capturing photos of the water spraying the rocks.  Every once in a while there would be a huge splash.  

I took some longer exposure shots to soften the look of the water.

Every once in a while I would turn around to face the sunset.  It wasn't the nicest one of the week but still some nice colours.

Now I was starting to get some nice colour in the skies and on the water on the other side.

I kept going from side to side to check out the colours.

This was one of my last shots of the sunset.  There were some nice colours at this point.

In spite of being up at 4 in the morning and arriving back at the Inn quite late Don,  Perry and I ventured out again to check out this waterfall on  private property.   We had flashlights but had to turn them off as people  were out having a bonfire so we had to be quiet.   Don knew where the waterfall was so we just followed him in pretty much pitch darkness.   This photo was taken in total darkness -it is not the best shot but to me it was really amazing to be able to get all this light in the photo when you couldn't even see the waterfalls to focus.  We just took a couple of shots before heading back.
