We have been a bit rushed in the last couple of days.  As usual by the time we get to the end of the trip we are anxious to get home.  We ended up staying in Memphis just one night instead of two as originally planned.  On the way to the hotel we stopped at the river which had a nice overlook of the downtown area.  It was a beautiful, warm day so there were a lot of people out on the river walk flying kites and just enjoying the day.  We ended up going to a great rib restaurant  for dinner where Elvis had eaten a couple of times.  We also drove by Graceland to take a look at this famous residence, but without taking a tour you couldn't see much.   The next morning we went to see the headquarters of the ACBL( American Contract Bridge League).  They have a new building which includes a fantastic museum all about  bridge.  There were lots of exhibits to see and to a bridge player it was very entertaining.   In the afternoon we traveled to Bowling Green Kentucky and today we drove through Lexington, Kentucky stopping at the Kentucky Horse Park where we all enjoyed walking around the grounds and saw  some of the shows.

We had never been to Bowling Green before so we walked around town and then drove around to find the river.  We found an abandoned bridge to explore.

On our walk at the horse farm  we came across the gravesite of Gypsy Supreme who was a nine time world champion.

We stopped to watch a show on famous horses who are now retired.  Meet Mr. Muscleman, one of the world's best trotters.

Cigar won just under $10 million dollars in his career.  His last race was at Woodbine in Toronto.
